The Gold Floor Soundproofing System is an easy to install method of soundproofing a floor with the minimum of disruption.  The unique design of the products used in the system gives exceptional soundproofing properties as a DIYl solution with the minimum amount of disruption for all types of separating floor.

QuietFloor Plus

 

QuietFloor Plus will reduce airborne noise and lessen impact noise transmission so eliminating the more costly alternative of installing a floating floor solution. 

 

The laminated composition of the QuietFloor Plus provides maximum performance for minimum thickness and combines excellent sound insulation with all the qualities of a good carpet underlay and should be used with no additional underlay.

 

It is quick and easy to install and is easily cut and shaped.

 

This product comprises a recycled layer of sound absorbing chip foam bonded to a top and bottom layer of mineral loaded soundproofing mat. The base layer of barrier mat seals and damps the sound coming through the floor, the isolated top layer of barrier mat reduces the sound penetration both ways and the sound absorbing chip foam core dramatically absorbs and reduces impact noise transfer. Due to the recycled nature of the sound absorbing foam, the colour, when delivered, is unlikely to be the same as that shown in our photographs.

 

 

 

In addition, QuietFloor PLUS includes an acoustic foam, which does not harden or crumble over time, unlike some other foams that are normally used in these applications.

Supplied with the following products included;

QuietFloor PLUS Underlay - (1200 x 600 x 15mm thick) per slab

Soundproofing Mats - (1.2m x 1.2m / 4ft x 4ft) per mat

Special Spray Adhesive (15oz 426 gram cans)

Enough Jointing Tape - (33 linear metres and 50mm wide)

  Enough Quietfloor Plus Perimeter Strips (1000 x 30 x 9mm thick strips)

 

The system is easy to fit with little D.I.Y experience and is simply laid directly on the floor. There is no need for a carpet underlay and carpet is installed directly on top of the QuietFloor PLUS. See our install video here

 

Once ordered the products are all delivered to your door (Access Permitting) with full step by step install instructions.

 

 

Please note: This system is effective at reducing normal noise levels, that should not normally be heard, for example talking, radio and TV sound. Loud music and bass noise will always be audible although its intensity will be reduced.

We advise to always add a few extra of each product to allow for wastage from offcuts.Our Perimeter strips are hard to calulate so please ensure you either add a few etxra or work out the exact amount before ordering.

 

Although every effort is made to ensure this product leaves us in perfect condition, sometimes slightly inferior QuietFloor PLUS panels can be packed in error. Should any of these be received, they can usually be used for cutting in around the edges of the floor leaving the damaged or sub-standard section as waste.
