Lino Floor Soundproofing System to reduce both airborne and impact noise beneath lino and vinyl covered floors.

The Lino Floor Soundproofing System is designed to reduce both impact noise transmission and airborne noise when used beneath Lino and vinyl type floor coverings. This system will upgrade the sound insulation properties of your floor and work in all types of domestic properties with the minimum of disruption.

The two main components are our 5mm Linoroll - 5 resilient layer for reducing impact noise and a double layer of 2mm Soundproofing Mat to reduce airborne noise.  Combined they are effective at reducing both types of noise.

 

As the Linoroll is produced using recycled rubber, soiling of the hands and clothes could occur during handling so the wearing of gloves is advisory.  There may be a slight odour from the rubber but this will quickly disappear once the Lino or vinyl are installed.

 

We have created this easy to order system for you but all the products can be purchased individually from other web pages on our site if preferred.

 

Supplied with the following products included;

(Syl) Linoroll 5 (10m x 1.25m x 5mm thick) per roll

Soundproofing Mats - (1.2m x 1.2m x 2mm thick) per mat

Special Spray Adhesive (15oz 426 gram cans)

 

The system is easy to fit with little D.I.Y experience and is simply laid directly on the floor. There is no need for a lino underlay as well as this product.

 

Once ordered the products are all delivered to your street address (Access Permitting) with full step by step install instructions.

 

Please note: This system is effective at reducing normal noise levels, that should not usually be heard, for example talking, radio and TV sound. Loud music and bass noise will always be noticed although its intensity will be reduced.
