The Lite Laminate Soundproofing Underlay System is designed specifically to reduce the impact (walking/footfall) & airborne noise from thin laminate, engineered wood and solid timber floors up to a maximum thickness of 15mm.

Unlike carpeted floors, more impact as well as airborne noise is created (due to the hard surface) from footfalls and moving furniture that can be a nuisance to people beneath.

The system comprises Acoustic Laminate Underlay a 4.2mm layer of high density resilient foam rubber with a foil faced moisture & thermal barrier laminated to one side. This acoustic underlay can easily be trimmed with a knife or large scissors. The system is supplied with the following products included;

Acoustic Laminate Underlay - (11m x 1.37m x 4.2mm thick.) per roll

Soundproofing Mats - (1.2m x 1.2m / 4ft x 4ft) per mat

Special Spray Adhesive (15oz 426 gram cans)

Aluminium Jointing Tape - (46 linear metres x 48mm wide)

This acoustic underlay system is easy to fit with little D.I.Y experience and is simply laid directly on the floor. There is no need for the usual laminate underlay with this system.

Once ordered the products are all delivered to your street address (Access Permitting) with full step by step install instructions.

Please note: This system is effective at reducing normal noise levels, that should not usually be heard, for example talking, radio and TV sound. Loud music and bass noise will always be audible although its intensity will be reduced.
